## Resource

Tennessee Volunteers see true freshman quarterback Faizon Brandon get the better of George MacIntyre in the first major fall scrimmage. Is Brandon ready to seize the starting job, or will MacIntyre bounce back in the decisive second scrimmage? Eric Cain breaks down the quarterbacks’ battle, highlights key performances, and explores how Josh Heupel’s evolving offense could be impacted by these developments. Cain also tackles the devastating season-ending injury to starting safety Edrees Farooq, examining Tennessee’s secondary depth concerns and potential replacements like Dejuan Lane opposite of TJ Metcalf. Insights on the run game’s dominance, defensive struggles, and which young wide receivers are stepping up round out the episode. How will the Volunteers respond as the final week of fall camp approaches with roster spots and starting jobs on the line?
