## Resource

Tennessee Volunteers’ defense enters Furman week with sky-high expectations as Jim Knowles crowns Jeremiah Telander the “heart and soul” of the unit. Is Telander poised for a breakout year under Knowles’ new scheme, and can Tennessee’s pass rush, led by transfer Jordan Norman, deliver consistent pressure after offseason changes? The episode spotlights key position battles, including upgrades from Xavier Gilliam and Kayin Lee, and offers insights into how creative linebacker usage could reshape the Vols’ defensive identity. Eric Cain examines rising buzz around freshman quarterback Faizon Brandon’s poise, discusses CBS Sports’ “boom or bust” designation for Jordan Norman, and evaluates Tennessee’s approach to early-season matchups. Locked on Bets analyst Lee Sterling joins to forecast the SEC’s week 1 slate and predicts how Josh Heupel’s high-scoring offense will fare against Furman. Will the Volunteers’ revamped defense and new faces shine when the lights come on at Neyland Stadium?
