## Resource

Utah Utes football looks poised for a Big 12 breakout, but can their revamped trenches and elite secondary carry them to the top? Dalton Wasserman and JT Wistrcill spotlight standouts like Elijah Scooby Davis and James Chenault in the defensive backfield, while weighing Jonathan Hall’s development at linebacker and Devin Dampier’s quest for All-Big 12 honors at quarterback. Is Utah’s offense still a threat after losing all five starting offensive linemen? The conversation heats up with breakout predictions for Wayshawn Parker at running back and insights on the Utes’ toughest conference rivals—Texas Tech, BYU, Houston, and Arizona. Wasserman debates Utah’s preseason top-25 ranking and makes bold calls on their schedule, including potential statement wins and trap games. Can Morgan Scalley cement himself among the Big 12 coaching elite in his first year at the helm?
