## Resource

Oklahoma City Thunder signal a bold new era by trading Lu Dort—a move described as the ultimate gesture of respect toward rising star Cason Wallace. Is Wallace ready to step into Dort’s defensive anchor role, and how will this shift reshape the Thunder’s identity? Sam Presti’s rare transparency on long-term plans and praise for Wallace, along with excitement around rookies Jared McCain and Ajay Mitchell, hints at a reimagined rotation and heightened internal competition. The discussion explores the critical 10,000-minute gap left by outgoing veterans and spotlights ownership’s looming decision: Will they “pay the piper” to keep this ascending Thunder core together, especially with the NBA’s second apron penalties in sight? Insights into the evolving 3-2-1 draft lottery system, health updates on Jalen Williams (J-Dub), and Chet Holmgren's development set the stage for a season where every win—and roster move—could define Oklahoma City’s championship journey.
