## Resource

Oklahoma City Thunder face mounting false narratives as the 2026-27 NBA season approaches. Is Chet Holmgren truly the key to beating the San Antonio Spurs, or are expectations misplaced? Rylan Stiles and Nick Cain take on national hot takes about Holmgren, Jalen Williams (“J-Dub”), and rising stars like Kayson Wallace and Jared McCain while questioning assumptions about roster depth and the impact of losing key bench contributors Lou Dort, Aaron Wiggins, and Isaiah Joe. The hosts break down why the Thunder’s playoff chances don’t hinge on labeling J-Dub injury-prone—or expecting superstar leaps from their role players. Can Chet solve his Spurs struggles without reinventing his game? Will OKC’s regular season success suffer without Dort and Joe’s reliable production? Get insider analysis on rotation battles, player development, and what it really takes for the Thunder to contend for another NBA title.
