## Resource

We continue our UNC Basketball Roster Preview Series with Northwestern transfer Cade Bennerman! We've already hit all the freshmen (Maximo Adams, Kayon Keita, Malloy Smith, Kevin Thomas) as well as two sophomores - Matt Able and Neo Avdalas. UNC Tar Heels add 7-footer Cade Bennerman to their depth chart...can his untapped potential anchor a dominant frontcourt next season? With Bannerman’s rare size, 7'5" wingspan, and flashes of guard skills from a massive high school growth spurt, Isaac Schade and Jonathan Adams break down whether this former Northwestern redshirt can translate upside into impact minutes. Key topics include Bennerman’s high school achievements at Father Ryan and how he fits alongside Cameron Fens and Sayon Keita in the evolving Tar Heels center rotation. The hosts analyze Bennerman’s defensive switchability, offensive passivity, locker room presence, and development priorities under Coach Michael Malone and Sean May. Plus: bold predictions for Bennerman’s ACC breakout, realistic role projections, and over/under on his minutes as UNC chases a championship-caliber season.
