## Resource

UNC Tar Heels look to sophomore guard Isaiah Denis for a breakout year as the team revamps its backcourt. Can Denis seize a critical rotation spot and become Carolina’s go-to sharpshooter? Isaac Schade and Jonathan Adams spotlight Denis’s journey from Charlotte’s Davidson Day High School to Chapel Hill, his state title run, and his ties to UNC legend Jeff McInnis. Key topics include Denis’s strengths as a tough shot maker, catch-and-shoot specialist, and dynamic transition threat, as well as areas of growth like finishing through contact and defensive physicality. The episode covers Michael Malone’s expectations, transfer portal movement, and bold predictions—could Denis lead UNC in three-point percentage or play a Seth Trimble-type role off the bench? Don’t miss expert insights on the Tar Heels’ evolving guard depth, positional versatility, and why Denis might be the X-factor in UNC’s ACC campaign.
