## Resource

The baby San Jose Sharks were overwhelmed by the Anaheim Ducks as prospects got a reality check in the preseason opener. Are these growing pains a preview of the season ahead, or a necessary test for the Sharks’ AHL-heavy roster? JD Young breaks down the Sharks’ 6-2 loss, highlighting standout performances from Eric Comrie in net and Erik Polkamp’s power play impact, while questioning Ty Dellandrea’s rough outing and the defensive struggles of Leo Sahlin Walenius. Emerging Barracuda talent like Ethan Cardwell is showing flashes of promise; the episode explores which players impressed, who may be headed to waivers, and how Coach Ryan Warsofsky’s new forecheck system is taking shape. Plus, get insight into upcoming roster moves, training camp battles, and what to expect as the preseason continues.
