## Resource

Winnipeg Jets rocked as Connor Hellebuyck officially requests a trade. Should the San Jose Sharks make a blockbuster move for the former Vezina and Hart Trophy-winning goalie, or is the price—and the risk—too high? JD Young explores both sides of the Sharks’ potential pursuit of Hellebuyck, breaking down the elite netminder’s resume, his recent “down year,” and what acquiring him could mean for San Jose’s rebuild. Key topics include trade cost scenarios involving prospects like Yaroslav Askarov and Quentin Musty, Hellebuyck’s massive contract with no-move protection, and concerns about his age and playoff track record. Hear why Hellebuyck could instantly solidify the Sharks’ goaltending—and why the gamble might not fit their long-term vision.
