## Resource

SEC football returns with high-stakes drama as Lane Kiffin stirs controversy over transfer eligibility and roster moves. Can Georgia, Texas and other powerhouses navigate murky NCAA rules as the season kicks off? Chris Gordy and Chris Marler scrutinize Kiffin’s strategies, players seeking extra eligibility, and the fallout for teams like LSU, Kentucky, and Texas A&M. Previewing Week 1, they spotlight key matchups: DJ Lagway’s Big12 debut for Baylor against Auburn, Keelon Russell’s shot at Alabama glory, and the start of Pete Golding’s head coaching era at Ole Miss. With standout talents like Jamal Roberts, Kamario Taylor, and Faizon Brandon set to shine, each SEC team faces questions about depth, offensive overhaul, and title aspirations. Can some SEC schools prove in Week 1 why they are National Championship contenders?
