## Resource

The SEC’s dominance faces new scrutiny after three football seasons without a national championship bid. Is the Southeastern Conference losing its grip as college football’s premier league, or just reloading for another run? Chris Gordy, joined by Dan Mathews, sits down with SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey to tackle pressing questions about media rights pooling, NIL restrictions, and the impact of the Protect College Sports Act on its powerhouse programs. The conversation spotlights eligibility controversies—from lengthy NCAA waiver debates to Charles Bediako’s case—and examines how shifting political tides and Big 12, Big Ten, and ACC collaboration could reshape the future of college sports. Hear why SEC leadership pushes back against revenue-sharing models and what the evolving landscape means for true freshmen like Faison Brandon and Jermaine Bishop. Will fresh faces help their teams return SEC football to the top, or are more challenges ahead?
