Ole Miss secures long-overdue respect, landing third in the SEC preseason media poll behind Georgia and Texas. Can Pete Golding’s candid leadership and dynamic personality propel the Rebels even further this year? Steven Willis and Matt Galatzan spotlight how Golding’s honesty and recruiting skills have reshaped the program’s image, while standout Rebels like Trinidad Chambliss, Kewan Lacy, and Will Echoles headline the preseason All-SEC first team. Key conversations explore the SEC’s power rankings, sleeper picks, and the unexpected first-place vote for Kentucky. The hosts dissect Texas A&M’s ceiling with Marcel Reed at quarterback and discuss whether Steve Sarkisian’s stacked Texas roster is truly championship-ready. Insights extend to Media Days’ biggest winners and losers—including the buzz around John Sumrall and the oddities of All-SEC special teams selections.
