## Resource

New York Giants shake up the NFL by trading for former top-10 pick JJ McCarthy, adding a high-upside quarterback to their QB room for just a fifth-round pick. Does a change of scenery unlock McCarthy’s potential, or will his short-lived stint with the Minnesota Vikings be his legacy? Joe Marino and Kyle Crabbs debate the Giants’ bold move, discuss McCarthy’s contract value, and analyze why other teams passed on the young QB. The conversation spotlights the ripple effects on the Vikings’ team-building strategy and places McCarthy among an exclusive, less-than-ideal club of first-round passers with minimal starts. Devastating injuries hit stars like Brian Burns (New York Giants) and De’Von Achane (Miami Dolphins), threatening to derail seasons. The hosts cover Baker Mayfield’s latest setback with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Leo Chanal’s scary neck surgery, and the Baltimore Ravens’ center woes, while dissecting Chicago Bears’ statement victory over the Philadelphia Eagles behind veteran Case Keenum. Which teams can weather the storm as injuries mount and unexpected heroes emerge?
