## Resource

Drake Maye absolutely choked with three interceptions as the New England Patriots lost on opening night to the Seattle Seahawks, who lost starting quarterback Sam Darnold to injury. Darnold went out early with what could be a major injury and that would ruin the season for the defending champs. AJ Brown, the Patriots prized offseason addition, also got banged up. Both injuries cloud the outcome on both sides. On Thursday night, the Los Angeles Rams kickoff their highly-anticipated campaign as Super Bowl favorites against divisional opponent San Francisco 49ers. They will be doing so without Aaron Donald as the reunited all-timer needs more time to get ready, but the Rams should still be considered favorites. Finally, Baker Mayfield got his big extension in a surprise move with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and it sets them straight as they head into a key matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Houston Texans playing the Buffalo Bills is another massive matchup with AFC ramifications.
