## Resource

The first Monday of Big Ten football season at Nebraska brought a few revelations from coach Matt Rhule in his weekly meeting with the media. Rhule discussed his confidence in the 2026 Huskers as they prepare to travel to Michigan State. He offered some detail on his decision to hire Rob Aurich late last year, with plans to build a defensive system similar to the schemes at Iowa and Minnesota. And Rhule shared his thoughts on the Nebraska-Notre Dame series scheduled for far in the future. Also, we’re discussing big news for Nebraska basketball. Fred Hoiberg, as his Huskers open practice this week ahead of the 2026-27 season, received a commitment from Texas high school power forward Dawson Battie, a five-star talent.
