Texas Longhorns seize the No. 1 spot after toppling Ohio State, but can they avoid the post-victory letdown that’s plagued them in years past? Brad Kellner breaks down the team’s mindset following the high-stakes win, spotlighting insights from Steve Sarkisian and stars like Trevor Goosby as Texas prepares for a crucial matchup against UTSA. What will it take for the Longhorns to maintain focus amid skyrocketing expectations? Key topics include the emergence of transfer standouts Dylan Sikorski, Melvin Siani, and Juice Cryer, the need to tighten up ball security, and alarming third-down defense statistics highlighted by Steve Sarkisian himself. With the Roadrunners posing a potential trap and conference play on the horizon, Brad Kellner explores whether Texas’ standard-driven culture is enough to keep their national championship hopes alive.
