## Resource

Texas Longhorns scramble to fill their linebacker void after Ty'Anthony Smith's sudden dismissal—can 4-star freshman Kosi Okpala step up as an immediate contributor? BK, Brad Kellner spotlights Okpala’s rapid progress in fall camp, his playmaking ability, and the intensified pressure on young talents like Tyler Atkinson and Rocky Cummings as the linebacker room thins out just weeks before kickoff. Breakdowns include a progress report on the Longhorns’ 2026 freshman class, with names like Derrek Cooper and Jermaine Bishop Jr. emerging as early impact players. BK, Brad Kellner explores defensive strategies, special teams roles, and the staff’s trust in these newcomers against Texas State and top-ranked Ohio State. The episode also examines late transfer portal options—Jaden Mosley, Darius Thomas, and Ke'brion Winston—as Texas weighs emergency additions versus developing in-house talent.
