## Resource

Detroit Lions face scrutiny after Brad Holmes defends 53-man roster decisions and addresses the fallout from Terrion Arnold’s release. Tensions flare as Holmes engages with Free Press reporter Dave Birkett, raising questions about the Lions’ secondary depth and the timing of key moves. Can new additions like Rock Ya-Sin and Roger McCreary fill the void, or will the lack of a top-flight corner haunt Detroit’s defense? Matt Dery dissects the wide receiver shakeup, spotlighting Greg Dortch’s surprising exit and the implications for Detroit’s special teams and offensive depth chart. The episode breaks down CBS Sports’ harsh preseason grade for first-round pick Blake Miller and spotlights the urgency to answer lingering concerns at kicker and in the secondary. With the season opener against the New Orleans Saints looming, has Holmes done enough to keep the Detroit Lions competitive?
