## Resource

Detroit Lions shake up roster days before Week 1 clash with the New Orleans Saints. With the release of Levi Onwuzurike and practice squad changes, could Dan Campbell’s team be setting the stage for contract maneuvering—or is something bigger brewing? The health of Jared Goff, Jahmyr Gibbs’ expanded role, and Penei Sewell’s dominance headline the debate over Detroit’s most indispensable player as the season kicks off. Matt Dery examines the Lions’ clean injury report, the left guard competition between Christian Mahogany and Ben Bartch, and how Drew Petzing’s ground game philosophy could reshape the offense. Plus, get the scoop on radio broadcast shifts, keys to avoiding Week 1 sloppiness, and what fans should watch in matchups like DJ Reed vs. Chris Olave. Can the Lions set the tone for a playoff push or will early miscues haunt their opener?
