## Resource

etroit Lions’ offensive line depth faces a major setback as Giovanni Manu suffers another non-football injury, sidelining him for up to 14 weeks—was his draft pick Brad Holmes’ biggest misstep? Matt Dery breaks down the impact of Manu’s absence, the importance of Larry Borom and Blake Miller at tackle, and why this season is make-or-break for Colby Sorsdal as the Lions recalibrate protection for Jared Goff. Kerby Joseph’s knee injury sparks optimism—and questions—as he shares his recovery journey and determination to return, but will Detroit risk starting him or Brian Branch in Week 1? Dery spotlights Derrick Barnes’ standout performance in camp, evaluates the defense’s outlook, and explores the Lions’ roster philosophy versus Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ turmoil with Baker Mayfield and Vita Vea. Can Detroit’s strategy of keeping key players happy fuel another playoff push?
