## Resource

Notre Dame football enters the 2026 season with national championship expectations, CJ Carr leading the offense, potential breakout stars across the roster and a loaded schedule featuring massive games against Miami and SMU. Locked On Irish host Tyler Wojciak is joined by Luke Smith for their sixth annual preseason awards show, as they predict Notre Dame’s freshman of the year and biggest breakout player, identify players whose development could shape the future, examine the offensive line, pick the best win and strangest game of the season, and finish by naming their 2026 Fighting Irish MVP.
