## Resource

The Big Ten is taking a stand on one of the wildest issues facing college football. The conference has moved to prevent players who have entered the professional/NFL ranks from returning to play Big Ten football, putting even more pressure on the SEC and other major conferences to decide how they'll handle the issue. On this bonus episode of Locked On Hoosiers, Jacob Goins is joined by TJ Pittinger of Big Ten Football Addiction to react to the breaking news, what it means for college football and why all eyes now turn toward the SEC, LSU and Lane Kiffin. Then, we turn back to Indiana football fall camp. Curt Cignetti says veteran Grant Wilson “definitely has the edge” over Tyler Cherry in the battle to back up Josh Hoover at quarterback. What does that tell us about Indiana's QB room, and could Cherry eventually overtake Wilson as the season progresses? On today's show: Big Ten takes action on former NFL/pro players returning to college football Why the conference moved quickly Whether other Power conferences follow Why the SEC becomes the conference to watch Lane Kiffin and LSU's role in the controversy How a rule like this could be enforced Grant Wilson vs. Tyler Cherry for Indiana's QB2 job Why Cherry could still become QB2 later this season Indiana's long-term quarterback development Subscribe to Locked On Hoosiers for daily coverage of Indiana football and Indiana basketball.
