## Resource

Miami Heat miss out on John Konchar as he signs with the New York Knicks, raising fresh questions about Pat Riley and Erik Spoelstra’s plan for the critical 15th roster spot. Are the Heat waiting for a game-changing buyout, or just keeping their options open for the right fit? Wes Goldberg and David Ramil break down why the Heat’s patience might pay off—and what it says about their strategy heading into the season. Discussion covers Bruce Brown’s fit, the flexibility Miami wants with its open roster spot, and possibilities like a Gabe Vincent return or a buyout-market swing. Then they react to Paul George’s underwhelming Boston intro. Can the Heat’s cautious approach set them up for a bigger midseason move?
