## Resource

The Giants are using the final games of a lost season to find out who deserves to stick around in 2027, and several young players are getting their opportunity to prove themselves. We break down which of San Francisco's late-season additions have done enough to enter the offseason with a legitimate chance at a roster spot and which players still have something to show. Meanwhile, the Giants' pitching injury problems continue, with Blade Tidwell likely headed for Tommy John surgery — another significant blow to an organization that has already lost several young arms. Plus, we take a closer look at Brett Harris after the Giants claimed the versatile infielder and examine whether he could become another useful depth piece moving forward.
