## Resource

Florida Gators land a “cold-blooded killer” in the 2028 class as 4-star safety Cyion Smith commits to Jon Sumrall’s squad. Is Smith’s physical style exactly what Florida’s defense needs to dominate the SEC under their new blueprint? Brandon Olsen breaks down Smith’s imposing film, from his eye-popping hits and box presence to his unique blend of length and athleticism. Discussion covers Smith’s versatility as a safety, his potential role in both single-high and box alignments, and how his physicality sets the tone for opposing offenses. Key takeaways include insight into Florida’s evolving defensive recruiting strategy, the momentum of recent additions like Samuel Bailey, and why Smith’s commitment could signal a new era of aggression and range for the Gators’ secondary. Can Smith’s mentality and talent help restore Florida’s defensive edge in the SEC?
