The episode spotlights Corbin Carroll's candid reactions, the toll of distractions on clubhouse morale, and manager Torey Lovullo’s emotional response. Key talking points include Merrill Kelly’s alarming struggles despite a hefty contract, Gabriel Moreno’s breakout into MLB superstardom, and the Diamondbacks’ thin lineup with Nolan Arenado sidelined. With pitching now the team’s identity and the farm system ranking slipping to 25th, George Lund explores whether Arizona can stay in contention with mounting challenges and few reinforcements on the horizon.
