Arizona Diamondbacks eye a playoff push as Ketel Marte nears return and Corbin Burnes steps up his rehab. Can the rotation find stability just in time for a crucial NL Wild Card run? George Lund breaks down the split series against the San Francisco Giants, spotlighting Merrill Kelly’s bounce-back outing and Lars Nootbaar’s breakout at the plate. The episode explores rookie woes for Jose Cabrera, Kohk Drake, and Mitch Bratt, while examining front office missteps at the trade deadline. Key storylines include Marte’s anticipated comeback, rising leadership among veterans like Corbin Carroll and Nolan Arenado, and the offensive resurgence from Geraldo Perdomo and Tim Tawa.
