## Resource

Iowa State Cyclones’ wide receiver depth chart remains a mystery as game day approaches. Can Jimmy Rogers’ squad reach new heights without a clear star at the position? Nick Marovets explores the uncertainty surrounding the Cyclones’ receiving corps, dissecting position coach Derrick Sherman’s remarks about still “searching for that complete dude” and what it means for Iowa State’s Big 12 ambitions. Key topics include the potential impact of freshmen like Jamal Polite Jr., Zach Eskilson, Jeffrey Roberts, and Malcolm Watkins, the evolving role of the new 5-for-5 eligibility rule, and how Tyler Rhoads’ offensive scheme could amplify diverse skill sets rather than relying on a single playmaker. With a run game expected to take center stage, Nick Marovets asks: do the Cyclones need a go-to wideout for success, or will depth and versatility define their season?
