## Resource

Iowa State Cyclones could be college football’s dark horse as new offensive coordinator Tyler Rhule brings an NFL-inspired, collaborative system to Ames. Is a uniquely blended coaching approach Iowa State’s secret weapon this season? Nick Marovets spotlights Rhule’s fresh strategy—combining philosophies from coaches across the country—and explains how this “potluck” offense might redefine the Cyclones’ identity. Key topics include Jalen Raynor’s leadership at quarterback, the potential for a dynamic, multi-dimensional attack, and the evolving synergy between offensive and defensive coordinators. Highlights include Rhule’s focus on “time of physicality” over time of possession, adaptability to weekly matchups, and how embracing team-wide input could keep Big 12 opponents guessing. Can Iowa State’s reimagined offense and empowered staff fuel a breakout campaign?
