## Resource

Kansas City Chiefs face critical depth tests as injuries shake up the preseason showdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With stars like Trey Smith, Josh Simmons, and Ashton Gillotte sidelined, can new faces on the offensive line and defense prove themselves in game action? Chris Clark previews key positional battles, including the evolving right guard and tackle situations, and raises the stakes for rookies Kahlil Benson, Jaylon Moore, and R. Mason Thomas. Will Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, and Tyquan Thornton energize the Chiefs’ offense, or do dark horse contenders like Andrew Armstrong break through? Position battles rage at tight end, running back, and cornerback as roster spots hang in the balance. The discussion covers Travis Kelce’s potential usage, the impact of recent signings, Kristian Fulton’s job security, and special teams shakeups—with the looming question: Can the Chiefs’ next generation step up before the regular season begins?
