## Resource

New York Knicks face the daunting challenge of defending their NBA title as the Eastern Conference grows more competitive than ever. Can Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns navigate a potential championship hangover, a condensed offseason, and rising parity to lead the Knicks to back-to-back glory? John Karalis of Celtics On SI and Locked On Knicks host Gavin Schall dissect how roster changes—highlighted by the departure of Mitchell Robinson to the Boston Celtics—may affect New York’s interior defense and playoff aspirations. Key topics include the Knicks’ strategy for regular season rest, how Karl-Anthony Towns’ uncertain contract future mirrors league-wide second apron dilemmas, and the emergence of new threats across the East. Schall offers insider takes on the chemistry between Brunson, Towns, and OG Anunoby, the impact of Andre Drummond as a replacement big, and the slim margins separating championship contention from early-round exits. Could health and depth be the deciding factors in the Knicks’ quest to repeat?
