## Resource

NBA drops the hammer on the LA Clippers with unprecedented penalties, but does this really boost the Boston Celtics’ 2028 draft pick odds? John Karalis of Celtics On SI challenges the prevailing narrative and unpacks why this punishment may not be the windfall for Boston that fans expect. With a five-year draft pick forfeiture, massive fines, and front-office suspensions rocking the Clippers, Karalis explores what this means for Brad Stevens’ long-term plans. The discussion breaks down potential Clippers fire sales, the evolving impact of NBA draft lottery reform, and the strategic value of the Celtics’ 2028 asset in future blockbuster trades. Tom Westerholm joins for deeper analysis on LA’s rebuild options and why this lottery pick may hold steady as a premium asset—or even slide in value. Can the Celtics leverage this chaos, or will the NBA’s new rules change the game?
