## Resource

NBA drops the hammer on the Los Angeles Clippers with the harshest punishment in league history—5 first-round picks lost, multi-million dollar fines, and key executives suspended after the Kawhi Leonard cap circumvention scandal shakes up the Western Conference. Could this seismic ruling open the door to further investigations—and will the Milwaukee Bucks feel the ripple effects? Justin Garcia and Camille Davis break down just how much Kawhi Leonard’s tenure cost the Clippers, comparing it to infamous NBA penalties like the Joe Smith case. With Gary Trent Jr.’s contract under scrutiny and the Bucks facing possible sanctions, the hosts debate how severe the consequences might be and whether the Clippers could be penalized again for the Bradley Beal deal. The episode highlights potential long-term ramifications for roster construction, expansion draft strategy, and NBA parity.
