ESSENTIAL: Why PJ Wilkins Must SHINE for Wisconsin Badgers to Beat Notre Dame – GAME SUPERLATIVES! Wisconsin Badgers face a defining early test as PJ Wilkins and Colton Joseph emerge as pivotal figures ahead of their clash with Notre Dame. Can the Badgers’ retooled offensive line—potentially featuring Wilkins and Simmons at tackle—hold their ground against Notre Dame’s elite defensive front? The spotlight shines on explosive backs like Abusama and young receivers such as Eugene Hilton, while question marks hover over the offensive line depth and secondary’s ability to live up to offseason hype. Ryan and Payne Blazevich break down superlatives, key injury concerns, and positional battles, debating whether Wisconsin’s rush attack and defensive front can make Notre Dame one-dimensional. Insights include coordinator Jeff Grimes’ pressure to boost offensive output, X-factors like Shamar Rigby, and stats Wisconsin must win—such as time of possession and yards per carry—to stay competitive. Will the Badgers’ revamped lineup rise to the occasion, or will Notre Dame pull away late?
