## Resource

Colorado Avalanche face mounting questions as a new NHL season approaches. Can veterans like Brock Nelson and Nazem Kadri maintain elite production and health, or will the team’s status as the league’s third-oldest roster catch up to them over an 84-game grind? Chris Micieli and Zach Pearson debate whether age truly poses a risk, spotlighting the Avalanche’s heavy travel miles, injury concerns, and the critical role of conditioning. Spotlights turn to the younger prospects—will Head Coach Jared Bednar give them a real shot, or will a reliance on proven vets continue? The episode also salutes former Calgary Flames for facilitating Kadri’s return to Colorado and celebrates classic NHL rivalries like the Battle of Alberta. Listener comments bring additional insights on Colorado’s depth, prospects, and potential hurdles. Can the Avalanche balance experience and youth to chase another Stanley Cup?
