## Resource

Cale Makar enters Norris Trophy season as the clear favorite, but is the Colorado Avalanche superstar truly untouchable? With rising talents like Quinn Hughes, Zach Werenski, and Rasmus Dahlin hot on his heels, the race for the NHL’s best defenseman award is tighter than ever. Can Moritz Seider or Matthew Schaefer break through if their teams trend upward, or will voting trends shake up the top-three dynasty? Chris Micieli and Zach Pearson spotlight Norris frontrunners, debate the impact of team success on award voting, and discuss dark-horse picks like Lane Hudson and Jake Sanderson. Plus, the hosts react to the controversy surrounding EA NHL 27—has AI ruined virtual hockey’s realism? Rounding out the show, they take a nostalgic look at the Anaheim Ducks, from Mighty Ducks movie lore and jersey debates to franchise legends like Teemu Selanne and Paul Kariya.
