## Resource

Most pet owners are taught to treat symptoms. Dr. Odette Suter believes that's the biggest mistake they can make. Known as the "Dr. Poop Lady," the holistic veterinarian, author, and creator of the Pet Health Accelerator challenges conventional thinking by revealing why gut health, chronic inflammation, and the microbiome may hold the answers to lasting wellness. Drawing from decades of personal hardship, professional setbacks, and groundbreaking work with holistic veterinary medicine, she explains why healing begins by asking better questions, not finding faster fixes. This conversation explores the mindset behind building a mission-driven business while helping pet parents transform the way they think about animal health. Key Takeaways Why treating symptoms without asking "why" often leads to recurring health problems. How gut health and the microbiome influence chronic disease and longevity in pets. The philosophy behind the Pet Health Accelerator and teaching pet owners to think differently. Why conventional and holistic medicine both have strengths when used appropriately. How personal adversity shaped Dr. Suter's mission to educate, empower, and inspire pet parents. Notable Quotes "We are so trained to use a pill for every ill." "The question is why." "The gut is really where a lot of things go wrong." "You have to rethink how you approach healing." "My program teaches people to think like a holistic vet."
