## Resource

A London trial for Tim Speers, 41, accused of plotting to vandalize Boris Johnson’s 2022 wedding reception, has been halted after a jury deadlocked. Found with spray paint and superglue near the estate, Speers claimed he backed out before police arrived. He admitted via voice note agreeing to an “action” organized by Palestine Action activists. Police also detained another suspect for carrying beer at the venue. With no unanimous verdict, the judge discharged the jury, pushing the case back to September 29th — and leaving prosecutors to decide whether to pursue a new trial.
