## Resource

A grieving father, Fred Ellison, has died just weeks after his son Adam was fatally stabbed nearly nine years ago — a tragedy that sparked the creation of the ADAM Foundation to fight knife crime. Adam, a 29-year-old trainee supermarket manager saving for an engagement ring, was killed in a brutal attack on a scrambler bike in Prescot, Merseyside. Though the family has offered a $24,000 reward and featured Adam’s story in a BBC documentary, no one has been charged in the case. Now, with Fred’s passing, the foundation has paused operations to honor both father and son — as the family mourns together, holding onto hope they’ll be reunited in heaven.
