## Resource

A Scottish woman’s dog cameras accidentally captured years of horrific domestic abuse by her ex-partner, Chris Forrest—revealing strangulations, death threats, and escalating violence that began in 2017. The chilling footage, seen by stunned police officers, became the key evidence that finally led to his 2022 conviction and 27-month sentence. Though he admitted guilt, seven charges were dropped under a plea deal, and he served just over a year. The victim, now rebuilding her life with a new partner and child, fiercely criticizes the justice system for prioritizing perpetrators over victims—and continues fighting for real reform.
