## Resource

Jemima Antwi, 27, founded Black Founders Studio after feeling isolated launching her own business — a shared struggle she saw among countless black entrepreneurs, especially women. Quitting her finance job, she created a not-for-profit incubator to guide early-stage founders from idea to launch, tackling systemic barriers like lack of funding, weak networks, and underrepresentation. In just one year, the studio has supported 50 founders, 30 ready to launch, including ventures in beauty, wellness, cuisine, and skincare that celebrate diverse identities. Her mission? To transform the UK startup landscape by building community, confidence, and opportunity for black founders across generations.
