## Resource

York’s 2026-27 budget keeps property taxes flat at 23 cents per $100 of value—but brace for a jump in the annual service fee from $130K to $150K, fueled by rising demand and big infrastructure needs. A chunk of that—$1.2M total, with $900K covered by state/federal funds—is earmarked for city improvements, including $70K for fire department upgrades, $100K for late-night emergency response, and $10K for tackling mosquito-borne illness threats.
