## Resource

A 16-year-old chess prodigy from Omaha, Luke Hengen, just earned his National Master title with a 2206 rating—less than 1% of players ever reach that level. After standout performances at the U.S. Open and Denker Tournament, he’s now eyeing an International Master title and overseas tournaments like Reykjavik. Homeschooled and dedicating 3-5 hours daily to chess, he even postponed studying for his driver’s permit until after big events. Already a two-time state champ, Luke’s got his sights set on both the board and the road—and he’s already crushing it.
