Students, beware—ticket scams are back and active right now, especially on apps like GroupMe where scammers prey on football season hype. They’ll lure you with fake tickets and ask for payments to random accounts, often mismatched from their online name. Police urge extreme caution and immediate action if you’re targeted—contact your bank or payment service fast to possibly recover funds.
