## Resource

Nebraska game day isn’t just a football event—it’s a spiritual experience, and one cop, Captain Pembleton, has lived it all. From cheering on the Huskers as a squad member in the late ‘90s to now running the entire security and logistics operation for tens of thousands of fans, he’s seen it evolve—and even met his wife on the squad. Over two decades later, they’re still in Lincoln with four kids, proving how deeply game day culture shapes lives in ways you can’t predict.
