## Resource

Step into the sharp legacy of Nebraska’s knife-making tradition at the Butler County Museum, where five master craftsmen—Frank Straka, Richard Masek, Floyd Nichols, Clark Gocken, and David Streeter—shine. Floyd Nichols’ WWII-era custom knives, engraved with soldiers’ names and even buffalo nickels, are a standout. Clark Gocken credits Nichols as his muse, while David Streeter, once a tool and die maker, found his true calling after a blacksmithing event—now crafting knives purely for joy, not commissions. The exhibit is open now—don’t miss the heat, the rhythm, and the art of the blade. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
