In week three of our series The Veil, Pastor Joshua shares a powerful message titled “Cleaning House.” Looking at the Day of Atonement in Leviticus 16, we see a picture of how God doesn’t just forgive sin, He removes it and makes a way for true cleansing. From the priest, to the place, to the people, every part of the process pointed to a deeper truth fulfilled in Jesus, our High Priest. We don’t come to God because we’ve already cleaned ourselves up, we come because He is the one who makes us clean. And when Jesus carries our sin away, we don’t have to keep carrying it.
