At the bottom of the globe, between the southernmost tip of Chile and the northernmost islands of Antarctica, lies a treacherous stretch of ocean that has claimed the lives of thousands of sailors. Beneath these churning blue-green waters, there are an estimated 800 hidden shipwrecks filled with forgotten treasures and floating skeletons, cursed to remain in this dark and frigid purgatory for the rest of time. Above the waves, unlucky sailors passing through the area must fight to stay alive as their ships rock violently against rogue waves, unpredictable currents, and howling tempests. As they struggle to traverse the passage successfully, many crew members swear they can hear the anguished voices of the drowned mixed with the whistling wind. Sea monsters, ghost ships, and skeleton sailors all populate this forgotten region.
