## Resource

A Leicester woman, Roma Frisby, 47, has pleaded not guilty to serious harassment charges after allegedly sending threatening Facebook messages to local councillor Leigh Higgins. The case, set for trial on December 4 at Loughborough Magistrates’ Court, centers on a pattern of online conduct causing distress — not physical violence. Frisby, currently on bail with strict conditions barring contact with Higgins and social media posts about council members, faces legal consequences as the court weighs whether digital communication can cross into real-world harassment.
