## Resource

Two notorious shoplifters in Leicestershire, Michelle Ward and Christopher Chapman, both 38 and without fixed addresses, have been slapped with strict Criminal Behaviour Orders after a spree of thefts. Ward, who pleaded guilty to five counts, faces a three-year ban from major stores like Tesco and Home Bargains, plus rules against hiding unpaid items. Chapman, convicted on three counts, gets a two-year order with rehab requirements, compensation, and an immediate exit mandate if asked by staff—plus bans from Co-Op and Tesco locations including petrol stations. Police applaud the measures as a strong deterrent, warning that repeat offenses could lead to jail time, and urge the public to report any violations.
